Joyce Wilhite

The Allen School is (to me):

An educational environment where I can reach and touch students.  I learn from them every day and support their effort to grow personally and educationally, and professionally.

My academic/medical interests are:

Human Resources, Communications, Professional Development, Course Development, and Teaching

Some of the jobs I have had in my lifetime include:

AT&T Management Trainer and Developer, Yellow Page Outside Salesperson (one of three females in Missouri), Training Director for an Online University, consultant developing and training numerous online management and HR courses and specific soft skill management classes for various organizations.

The best thing about being an instructor is:

Supporting students and teaching them to help themselves.  I like to see them develop a thirst for knowledge and lifelong learning.

When I am not in the classroom or on campus I can be found:

On the computer, cooking, crafting or at the lake boating.
