65 YEARS OF CHANGING LIVES
Allen School of Health Sciences Celebrates a Legacy of Student Success
Six Decades of Training Healthcare Heroes Who Serve Communities Across the Nation
New York — The Allen School of Health Sciences proudly announces its 65th Annual Commencement Ceremony, marking an extraordinary milestone: 65 consecutive years of transforming determined students into compassionate, skilled healthcare professionals who make a difference every single day. This landmark celebration honors not only the newest class of graduates, but the thousands of alumni whose dedication has shaped the face of healthcare across the country.
Since 1961, the Allen School has stood as a beacon of opportunity — a place where ambition meets preparation, and where students from all walks of life discover their power to heal, to comfort, and to lead. Today, that promise burns brighter than ever.
“Every graduate who walks across this stage carries with them the power to change a life. That is the Allen School promise — and it is a promise we have kept for 65 years.”
A Legacy Built on Student Success
What began 65 years ago as a vision to address the growing need for skilled health professionals has grown into one of the most respected healthcare training institutions in the region. The Allen School has assisted and trained thousands of people for their new careers in healthcare. Producing thousands of graduates who now serve in the healthcare field throughout New York and beyond.
This year’s graduating class represents the absolute best of what the Allen School stands for: resilience in the face of challenge, commitment to excellence, and an unshakeable desire to serve others. These graduates entered with a dream, and they leave with the skills, the credentials, and the confidence to make that dream a reality.
Distinguished Commencement Speaker
The Allen School is honored to welcome Dr. Sanjiv Singal as this year’s Commencement Speaker. A distinguished cardiologist based in Queens Village, New York, Dr. Singal brings a depth of clinical excellence and personal inspiration that is perfectly suited to this milestone occasion.
Dr. Singal is affiliated with two of New York’s most prestigious medical institutions: St. Francis Hospital and Heart Center and New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital. His career stands as a testament to the profound impact that a dedicated healthcare professional can have on an entire community — one patient, one family, one life at a time.
Dr. Singal’s address to the Class of 2026 will draw on his own remarkable journey in medicine, offering graduates a vision of what extraordinary commitment to patient care looks like in practice — and inspiring each of them to reach that same standard of excellence in their careers.
The Road Ahead: Graduates Ready to Serve
The healthcare professionals crossing the stage at this year’s commencement are entering the workforce at a moment when their skills are needed more than ever. They have mastered clinical competencies, patient care techniques, and the professional standards that employers across the healthcare industry demand. They are not just job-ready — they are career-ready.
The Allen School’s proven record of strong graduate placement reflects the quality of our programs and the determination of our students. Our graduates can go on to build meaningful careers at leading medical facilities, earning the trust of physicians, patients, and colleagues alike. They can become the heartbeat of healthcare teams — the people who make the system work, and who make patients feel seen, heard, and cared for.
To every member of this graduating class: You chose a path of purpose. You showed up, you pushed through, and you proved that you have what it takes. The world needs what you have to offer, and the Allen School is immensely proud of each and every one of you.
65 Years Strong — and Growing
As the Allen School enters its next chapter, the institution remains steadfastly committed to the mission that has defined it from the beginning: providing accessible, high-quality healthcare education to students who are ready to work hard, grow, and serve. With updated curriculum, hands-on training environments, and a dedicated faculty, the Allen School is poised to produce another generation of healthcare heroes for decades to come.
The best is yet to come — because the best of our graduates are just getting started.
About the Allen School of Health Sciences
Allen School for Physicians’ Aides was first incorporated in December of 1961 for the purpose of providing the residents of Jamaica, Queens with training for medical careers. The Institution continues to evolve under the leadership of Mr. Robert Teich and his son Mr. Jason Teich. These notable achievements include a campus expansion into Phoenix, Arizona.
Accredited by the Council on Occupational Education, the Institution is licensed by the New York State Education Department as well as the Arizona State board for private Postsecondary Education. Now a third-generation family-operated institution, the Allen School of Health Sciences continues their commitment to prepare graduates to thrive in today’s fast-evolving healthcare landscape.
