The Allen School Announces New Name

The Allen School has changed its name to the Allen School of Health Sciences to show its focus on the health care industry.

BROOKLYN, NY, January 21, 2014 The Allen School has changed its name to the Allen School of Health Sciences. The school group is based in New York and has campuses in Brooklyn, NY, Queens, NY, Phoenix, AZ as well as online. The change was made to reflect the school’s focus and commitment to the health care industry. “The Allen School of Health Sciences was established in 1961 and has always been focused on the health care industry. With thousands of health care graduates, we’re experts in teaching students what they need to succeed in the growing health care field. We felt our name needed to express our devotion to our students and the career they’ve chosen,” said Allen School of Health Sciences President, Jason Teich. The Allen School of Health Sciences offers Medical Assisting and Nursing Assisting at the Brooklyn and Queens, NY campuses. The school offers Medical Assisting at its Phoenix, AZ campus. And it offers Medical Billing & Coding through its online campus. “Our commitment to health care is strengthened by our focus on select health care career programs that are in high demand,” said Dr. Tim Cheslik, instructor at the Allen School of Health Sciences.
