Scholarships

The Allen School of Health Sciences Phoenix Campus is proud to offer our medical assistant students multiple scholarship opportunities to help them along their educational journey if they meet the eligibility requirements and qualify for the aid. Below is a list of scholarships currently offered at The Allen School of Health Sciences.

High School Presidential Scholarship

Do you want to become a medical assistant at our Phoenix healthcare campus? The High School Presidential Scholarship could be exactly what you need. It is intended for high-performing high school students who wish to further their education. Eligibility is determined on the basis of academic performance, such as high school grades and test scores.

The U.S. Department of Education offers Presidential Scholarships annually. To find out more about eligibility criteria, access the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program website. Every year, up to 161 students are honored as qualified scholars. In addition, some of these students are recognized for their accomplishments in career and vocational training.

Dream Act – DACA

Scholarships for DACA students are especially for those who would be affected by The DREAM Act of the U.S. government. These scholarships focus on young people brought into the United States as minors who wish to become successful members of society by pursuing education here in the United States. These youths may have many different backgrounds and goals.

Military Scholarships

Scholarships for veterans recognize those who have served in the U.S. armed forces in a range of roles. The Allen School of Health Sciences is proud to offer a range of options through its long-standing Military Benefits Program. We are approved for the use of VA education benefits.

Using scholarships for military veterans helps you conserve your VA benefits for a later date. These scholarships are typically available to those who served and were discharged honorably at any age. Some scholarships may require a minimum length of service as a qualification.
